I received The Happy Body book on Christmas Day 2009 and started the exercises the next day.

I have learned so much from being my own coach. How to be honest with myself and listen to my body, to realize when I need to raise my weights to the next level, to practice patience and take a day of rest when needed. I have a lifetime to improve my body, my eating habits and my attitude.

The Happy Body is a lifestyle change, requiring discipline and perseverance. I know we all have it because I am self-employed and work 96 hours a week most of the time and still set aside quality time each day to do my exercises.

I always feel refreshed and rejuvenated after the workout and my body has come to rely on the routine. I feel good for taking that30 minutes to care for myself.

I've gone from size 20 to size 12 and am now working toward size 10. Shopping for clothing has become a joy. I look great in everything!
